Happy Memorial Day Weekend! It's time to remember those brave men and women that have given their lives for our country. This time of year is such a transition time from winter to summer, school ending, and the feeling of change and it is easy to just enjoy the long weekend without thinking of the reason for it. Take time to remember those that have given their lives in the service of our country.
I used the retiring Crosses of Hope stamp set to make this card. I layered the three pieces of card stock cut with one of the Window Framelits and cut them all at once so they would fit together.
Did you notice the sneak peek of the embossing in the background? That is one of the new embossing folders that will come out in the new catalog.
Have a wonderful memorial day weekend! At some point this weekend I want to get out and start prepping and getting the garden going. We will not be able to plant anything yet because there are still frost warnings, but summer will come some day.

Such a lovely card! I like the idea of layering cardstock colors in one framelit to get a pieced look.

This is such a beautiful card, I just love it! I wouldn't have thought of piecing the window framelit, that is so clever and perfect for the theme. Just beautiful!
